Warranty
Momentum Mobility Limited (MML) warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for one hundred and twenty (120) days after the date of purchase.
All warranty coverage extends only to the original purchaser of the product from an authorised distributor or reseller and is not assignable or transferable. The original store or online purchase receipt must be kept as proof of purchase for the warranty to be valid. These documents must be presented when making a warranty claim.
During the warranty period, we will provide repair or replacement of defective equipment or parts thereof covered by the warranty. Any handling, transportation, delivery, and other incidental charges in respect of the servicing of the equipment shall be borne by the Purchaser. If the product includes accessories, only the defective part or accessory will be replaced.
The warranty will become void if any defects or damages are associated with the use of unauthorised replacement parts. All replacement parts must be obtained from our authorised agents.
All decisions made by the manufacturer in respect of the servicing of the equipment (including repairs, replacements or issues relating to defects of workmanship or materials) shall be conclusive and the purchaser agrees to be bound by such decisions. Any defective equipment or part replaced shall become the property of the manufacturer.
In the event of a product or accessory being replaced during the warranty period, the warranty on the replacement will expire at the original date i.e., 120 days from the original purchase date.
This warranty excludes defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with instructions, accidental damage, misuse or being tampered with by unauthorised persons.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- a) Items purchased from an unauthorised dealer.
- b) Products used for commercial or rental purpose.
- c) Loss or damage to product due to:
- Abuse, repairs and/or tampering by any person other than our authorised personnel.
- Negligence and/or misuse (including foreign objects, accidents, improper storage, exposure to sun/moisture, excessive temperature, sand, dust,
dirt, other pollution or other environmental conditions and failure to follow precautions or proper operating instructions stated in the User Manual
such as improper installations).
iii. Freight or improper transport damages.
- Improper usage (permitted as stated in the User Manual)
- Minor imperfections in the item that meet design specifications or do not materially alter functionality
- d) Defects, damages, or accidents due to the malfunction, connection to or use of unauthorised parts.
In such event, we reserve the right to cancel the Limited Warranty coverage immediately.
To the extent allowed by the applicable local law, the remedies in the Limited Warranty are the Purchasers sole and exclusive remedies.
Statement for goods purchased in Australia:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Statement for goods purchased in New Zealand
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory right observed under New Zealand legislation.
Statement for goods purchased in the United States
The warranty printed here is the only warranty applicable to this purchase and to this product. Except as expressly provided herein, all warranties are hereby excluded and disclaimed, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, and the buyer assumes all risk with respect to the quality and performance of the product and the cost of all necessary service and repairs in the event of any defects in the product. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Any implied warrantee which cannot be waived are hereby agreed to be limited to one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of purchase. Any purchase of the product by a person or in a purchase transaction that does not come within the terms of this limited warranty is purchased and sold ‘as is’, without warranty of any kind. It is understood and agreed that seller’s liability and purchasers sole remedy, whether in contract, under any warranty, in tort (including negligence), in strict liability or otherwise shall not exceed the return of the amount of the purchase price of the product paid by the purchaser, and under nm circumstances hall the seller be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, damage to or loss of equipment, lost profits or revenue, costs of renting replacements and other additional expenses, even if the seller has been advised of possibility of such damaged. Except as expressly provided herein, all remedies which might otherwise arise by implication or operation of law are hereby excluded and waived. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation oof incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Statement for goods purchased in Quebec:
The Consumer Protection Act provides specific legal warranties on all goods you purchase from a merchant. Such specific legal warranties include a guarantee that: (i) the product is free from latent and safety defects that deprive the consumer from the ordinary use of the product; (ii) the profit is suitable for the use for which it is normally intended; (iii) the product is durable in normal use for a reasonable length of time, having regard to its price, the terms of the contract and the conditions of its use; (iv)the product is in conformity with the description made, whether it is by nature, their quality and/or quantity. Rights of action of the consumer based on the legal warranties can be taken against the merchant or manufacturer. Subsequent purchasers of a product are also beneficiaries of the legal warranties and can take recourse against the manufacturer. The limitation period applicable to a recourse based on the legal warranties is three (3) years from date of purchase.

Limited Warranty does NOT cover:
- Damaged due to misuse
- Damage caused by external forces (e.g. damage caused to the bars through impact on concrete, or other damage caused to the bars)
- Punctured tire tubes in front wheel.
- Worn tread on front tire.
- Worn rear drift wheels.
- Damage from extreme temperature, water, or moisture.
- Crank arm thread from incorrect installation of pedals.
- Worn brake cables or brake pads.
- Scratches and chipping of finishes or paint
Breaks due to:
- User error in assembly of Drift Trike or components including installation of front brake.
- High impacts from sliding into an object.
- Any sort of intentional breakage.
